I’d like to announce my first historical exhibition, which I’m calling an Exposition, because it is about the world-famous State Fair of Texas and covers a century of artifacts from our beloved Fair Grounds. No, it is not next to the Butter Sculptures. It is located in the heart of Cedar Springs at the new Quarterly Coffee Bar, next door to JRs at 3917 Cedar Springs, Dallas, TX 75219.
The gallery will be open from 7am-Midnight 7 days a week from Friday September 25th-October 18th (the same dates as the Fair).
Opening night reception and happy hour this Friday from 5-8pm.
YOU DON’T NEED TO BE ON EXPOSITION TO GO TO ONE!
Come celebrate the fun and frivolity of the State Fair of Texas with artifacts from Ethel Merman, Cloris Leachman, Ginger Rogers, Carol Burnett, Rock Hudson, Katherine Hepburn, Carol Lawrence, Jim Nabors, Gene Kelly, Paul Lynde, Angela Landsbury, Lauren Bacall, Shirley Jones, Jane Powell and more. With artifacts dating back to 1907.
No actual glitter was used in the making of this Exposition. I hope to see you there!
